One of his most recognized contributions is the architectural design for the Lakeport Seventh-day Adventist Church in Lakeport, CA. The design served as the foundation for the entire building process, turning vision into a workable, well-planned structure that continues to serve its congregation.
In residential design, John has worked on both the planning and construction sides. The Summit Lake House in Angwin, CA, is a full-custom home that John designed and built from the ground up. The result is a thoughtful layout, efficient use of space, and quality craftsmanship throughout.
For the Friesen Lakes House, also located in Angwin, John served as the architectural designer and worked closely with the construction team as a consulting manager. His involvement helped streamline decisions, coordinate trades, and ensure the build stayed aligned with the original vision.
